Day 1 — Underground Rivers & Wild Coastlines
- Morning — Hotel pickup from Yogyakarta. Drive approximately 1.5 hours to the stunning karst landscape of Gunungkidul.
- Pindul Cave — Arrive at the famous Pindul Cave in Bejiharjo Village. Gear up with a tube and life jacket, then float gently through 245 meters of magical underground river — passing through three cave zones, marveling at glittering stalactites and stalagmites, and feeling the cool, crystal-clear water beneath you. An experienced local guide accompanies you throughout, sharing the history and geology of this incredible natural wonder.
- Jomblang Cave (Optional) — For the more adventurous, descend vertically into the dramatic Jomblang Cave — famous for its extraordinary beam of sunlight that pierces through the darkness to the jungle floor below. A truly surreal experience.
- Afternoon — Drive to the wild and rugged Timang Beach on Yogyakarta’s south coast. Stand on dramatic clifftops as massive waves crash against ancient rocks below. For thrill-seekers, take the traditional gondola ride across the roaring ocean to the rocky offshore island — an adrenaline rush unlike anything else.
- Late Afternoon — Enjoy fresh lobster at a local beachside warung — Timang Beach is famous for its lobster, and it doesn’t get fresher than this.
- Evening — Drive back to Yogyakarta. Drop off at your hotel.
